About Dell Coupons and How to Use Them
: The Dell.com Home store will often offer "secret" coupon codes to get additional money off of your electronics and accessory purchases (PDAs, Digital Cameras, Software, LCD TVs etc.). Here at SpotStop.com we keep track of these coupon codes. With the Dell.com Coupon tool we display the latest Dell.com prices along with a valid coupon code that can be applied to save you money. To use the coupon code, simply use SpotStop.com to search for the product you are interested in buying, then click on the link to carry you to the product on Dell.com. Once at Dell.com you can add the product to your cart, then at the checkout screen look for the area in which it asks you if you would like to apply a coupon, enter the valid coupon code in that text box, click "apply coupon" and your additional discount will be taken off the total price of the product. If the coupon you enter is invalid or expired, a red text error message will be displayed on the screen indicating why the coupon code you entered does not work.
Steps to Using a Coupon Code:
After selecting the product you want to buy you'll be presented with the shopping cart screen, notice the area in which you can enter a coupon (circled red)
Enter the coupon code you want to use, then click "Apply Coupon", the discount will be taken and shown in red or a red error message will display if the coupon is not valid
Be Careful when using coupons!! Usually a coupon code will beat existing deals and help bring down the price of a product. But notice in the graphics above the price is actually WORSE after applying the $100 off coupon to a computer because it cancelled out an automatic Dell discount of 10% off. When a coupon cannot be used in conjunction with another deal it is called "non-stackable". When a coupon code can be used in conjunction with an existing discount it is called "stackable". In order to remove a coupon you decide you don't want just click on the "Remove Coupon" link and the previous deal will be restored.
